How much do you charge to render an opinion?
The fee for a verbal opinion is $295.00. Upon the conclusion of my analysis, I will contact you with my findings. Should you require a notarized Letter of Opinion, the $595.00 fee includes this letter. Additional fees are required if your case goes to court and we can discuss those during your FREE initial consultation*. Please see the Fee Schedule page for a complete listing of fees. All fees are paid in advance.
Can I just fax the handwriting sample or must you have the original document?
Original documents are always preferable. Originals often reveal subtleties that cannot be derived from a fax or copy. However, originals are not always available for examination and we must use a fax or copy. In the majority of cases, an opinion can be rendered from these documents.
Will this opinion be accepted in a court of law?
Each expert witness is qualified in court by decision of the judge. Once the court has qualified me, my opinion will be admissible.
